Biography
The oh-so-adorable Chris Hemsworth marked his presence on earth on 11, August, 1983 in the home of Leonie and Craig Hemsworth. He is a native of Australia and spent a major part of his childhood moving between Outback and Melbourne. The blissful days he spent in the nature’s paradise called Bulman among a variety of animals like crocodiles and buffaloes figure in his most cherished childhood memories. Heathmont College laid the foundation of his academic career.
Success did not come easy to him. His first audition for a role on Home and Away failed to impress. The luck started to tilt towards him when hen was roped in to portray the role of Kim Hyde on the same show. Then on, there was no looking back for him, as he appeared in as many as 171 episodes of the series. He decided to end his much celebrated stint on 3 July, 1993, but not before snapping the Most Popular New Talent award for his sublime performance.
Star Trek movie (2009) included him as the father of T. Kirk and the same year saw him stepping into the shoes of Kale for the movie, A Perfect Getaway. Thereafter, he gave an exhibition of his unmatched talent on Ca$h; the first movie he bagged after shifting his base to United States. The movie’s director praised his acting talent and lady-killing looks, indirectly indicating that he’s one of the faces to watch out for in the near future. And he proved this claim by delivering a crowd-pulling performance in Thor.
Some of his much-awaited movies are Thor 2, The Avengers and Red Dawn. It’s easy to gauge from the diverse-package he brings to the screen that he’s all set to rule the hearts of viewers for many years to come. After all; he’s still young and bubbling with enormous talent!
