Born in 7 June 1952, Liam Neeson is also known by the name Liam John Neeson. He took birth in Ballymena, Northern Ireland and established himself as an Irish actor. He is son to Katherine Kitty and Bernard "Barney" Neeson. He is the only brother of his three sisters named Elizabeth, Bernadette, and Rosaline. At the age of nine, he took up boxing. When he was eleven years old, he performed his first stage role in a school play. He agreed to portray the character because the girl he was interested in was also acting. He, later on, attended Queen's University Belfast in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
In his career as an actor, he reprised a number of roles. Some of the most prominent are A Prayer for the Dying, Merlin and the Sword, Husbands and Wives, Schindler's List, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, The Endurance: Shackleton's Legendary Antarctic Expedition, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Coral Reef Adventure.
For his work in Kinsey, he won Irish Film Awards – Best Actor Film and Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Actor. For Schindler's List, he was nominated for Academy Award for Best Actor.
