Biography
Jeff was born on October 22nd, 1952. His mother, Shirley S. was a RJ by profession, but afterward, she started her own business. On the other side, his father, Harold L. Goldblum was a medical professional. He has 3 siblings namely, Pamela Lee and Rick. Unfortunately, Rick passed away at the early age of 23.
A seventeen year old Jeff moved to New York and began his struggle to become a successful actor. To realize his dream, he joined the Neighborhood Playhouse community and studied acting under Sanford Meisner’s guidance.
In 1974, Jeff was seen on Death Wish and he also portrayed the role of Lloyd Harris in California Split. In the year 1992, Jeff depicted the role of David Jason in the movie, Deep Cover which won a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award. Following this movie, Jeff also played the role of Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park, whose sequel titled The Lost World: Jurassic Park hit the screens in 1997. Some of his recent flicks are The Switch and Morning Glory, which were released in the year 2010.
Jeff also acted on the small screen and was seen on Tom Goes to Mayor (2004), Will and Grace (2005) and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2009).
In 1980, he got married to Patricia Gaul. In 1986, Jeff officially snapped ties with Patricia. Thereafter, Jeff tied the knot with Geena Davi and lived with her till the late 1990s.
